What Can Shakespeare Teach Us About Social Marketing?

There are many today who seek to exploit social media for their own benefit, constantly hyping their service or product offerings or others that work an influence contest. This is a natural human behavior with simple age-old decisions that yield worrying consequences.

Shaping policy for online engagement whether for public servants or consumer marketers will be critical in this new medium. As success is more often driven by passion for open dialogue and exchange, a fresh new attitude is required.
